how can i get over the huge concern for my dog?
im going to aruba in a week and i will admit i have a slight problem with seperation anxiety when it comes to him. especially going away. i remember going last year and about 80% of the time i was stressing and worrying about his well-being. i just REALLY dont want anything to happen to him while were gone. my biggest fear is him getting out and running away. i want this vacation to be stress free unlike last year. how can i get relief from this concern? at least enough to enjoy my vaca to the fullest?
last year he stayed at a kennel type place.. this year my uncle is staying at my house with him
If you can get him into a reliable boarding facility, that should ease your fears.
Ask around and get a referral from someone who has used a boarding facility in your area. Also, some vets do boarding too. They are professionals and your dog should be fine.
