Beta blocker and 1.5mg Clonazepam before job Interview too much?
I have an anxiety disorder and have a job Interview scheduled for later this afternoon. I took a beta blocker (something to reduce my heart rate) at 9AM. My interview is at 2PM. I want to take 1.5mg of Clonazepam (generic for Klonopin) at some point between now and then and was thinking around 10AM or 11AM or so. The point is to give the medication time to kick in but not seem high as a kite during the interview. (I’m prescribed 1mg per day, but only take it as needed and 1mg does relax me, but not completely). Basically I don’t want to blow this interview or inadvertently kill myself. When should I take it? Am I taking too much? Help!
take the as needed dose 1mg, you need to be on your toes for an interview, and as you said you dont want to seem high as a kite. if you need the other .5 take it after the interview to help you completely relax.
As far as when to take it you know your body better than anybody, I personally would take it about noon that way you have a couple hours for it to really take affect. Good Luck with the interview btw : )
